While there are many related proposals in play and APAP members have a range of needs, here is a round-up of some bills and policies that resonate with many of our members. Save Our Stages Act, a bipartisan bill authorizing $10B in dedicated grants for venues, producers, promoters, and agents. You can show your support here. Mixed Earner Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Act to ensure those who earn both traditional and independent income can fully access relief. Restart Act, while supported by many in the industry, others think it doesn't go far enough in terms of loan forgiveness, especially for non-profits. League of American Orchestras' action alert, which includes PPP and forgivable loan eligibility, tax credits, charitable giving incentives, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and federal arts funding. National Council of Nonprofits' Non-Profit Policy Priorities in Reforms to CARES Act, which shares many similar priorities to the League's alert.
