Stories That Shine: APAP members share effective practices for building arts audiences

Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 3-4 p.m. (EDT)

PD Session at APAPNYC 2018 by Adam Kissick/APAP

For the past four years, APAP has asked members to share their stories of innovative audience building based on the Wallace Foundation's Nine Effective Practices for Building Arts Audiences in the 5 Minutes to Shine (5MTS) session at APAP|NYC. Their real-life experiences are inspirational and relatable, providing useful models to a range of industry professionals and organizations.

Join us tomorrow at 3 p.m. (EDT) to hear first-hand from your APAP colleagues as they highlight how they took a building arts audiences challenge and turned it into a success, and what they learned along the way.

What you’ll get from this webinar:

  • Learn about real-world challenges and innovative approaches around building arts audiences.
  • Come away with new audience development ideas for your organization.
  • Understand what makes a good story and how to apply for 5MTS at APAP|NYC 2019 (Jan. 4-8).

Alicia Anstead, editor of Inside Arts and producer of 5MTS will moderate the discussion.
