Emerging Leadership Institute
The APAP Emerging Leadership Institute (ELI) is an intensive two and a half-day seminar that takes place during the pre-conference of the annual APAP|NYC conference. Each year, APAP invites a new cohort of approximately 25 individuals with 3-7 years of experience to participate in this program where they will learn about leadership and then take that knowledge and apply it first-hand.

Applications for ELI 2020 have closed. The deadline was June 20, 2019.

- Prepare an updated resume and your responses to the short answer questions.
- Applications have closed. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application no later than Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Please note, any applications submitted via email will not be accepted.

Eligible participants are in the first 3-7 years of their career in the presenting and touring field who are either APAP members or employed by an active APAP member organization. ELI includes but is not limited to individuals that are performing artists, presenters, managers, agents, creative directors, arts managers that work for arts councils or service organizations etc. ELI also partners with the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) to conduct an exchange between three ELI participants and three ISPA Fellows.
