Christopher K. Morgan & Artists: Pōhaku blends modern dance, storytelling & hula
Pōhaku is a unique modern dance and hula performance by choreographer/performer Christopher K. Morgan. With live music electric cellist Wytold and Hawaiian chanter/percussionist Elsie Kaleihulukea Ryder, the show tells the story of Hawaii's colonial past through the choreographer's personal ache for the land he is from but never lived in. A new work, Native Intelligence, will premiere in 2019-20.
