Performing Arts Alliance (PAA)

Established in 1977, the PAA is the principal advocate for America's professional non-profit arts organizations and their audiences in representing arts interests and advancing arts support before Congress and other branches of the federal government. PAA is a 501(c)4 organization whose members include arts organizations Dance/USA, Opera America and Theatre Communications Group.

Independent Sector is committed to strengthening, empowering, and partnering with non-profit and philanthropic organizations in their work on behalf of the public good. Its membership of non-profit organizations, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs collectively represents tens of thousands of charitable groups serving every cause in every region of the country, as well as millions of donors and volunteers.
